Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
3 cups whole milk 
1 cup heavy cream 
1 cinnamon stick 
1/3 cup sugar 
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Kosher salt 
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate 
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 
Whipped Cream, optional 
Marshmallow, optional 

Directions  
In a large pot, combine milk, cream and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and whisk in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until dissolved. Do not boil. Whisk in half the chocolate until melted; add remaining chocolate and whisk until smooth. Remove pot off heat and whisk in vanilla; discard cinnamon stick. Serve and top with whipped cream. 

Cook with soul. Drink with pleasure! ​
