Garlic Bread Two Ways

Ingredients
For Traditional Garlic Bread 
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons olive oil 
2 cloves garlic, grated
1 (1/2) tablespoons chopped parsley 
1 baguette
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated (optional) 
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper 

For Garlic Bread Pizza
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons olive oil 
2 cloves garlic, grated 
1 (1/2) tablespoons chopped parsley 
1 baguette 
1 cup mixed cheese, grated 
Pepperoni, for topping (optional) 

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. 

2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Melt in the microwave for 1 minute. Cut the baguette lengthwise, not cutting all the way through. Brush the butter mixture on both sides of the bread.

3. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Bake in oven until golden brown 10 to 12 minutes. 

For Garlic Bread Pizza
Follow steps 1 thru 2. For step 3, sprinkle the mixed cheese and pepperoni on top of the bread. Bake until cheese is melted about 12 to 15 minutes. 

Bake with soul. Eat with pleasure!
