 Ingredients
1 Golden Delicious apple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4-inch thick half-moon slices
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon flour, plus more for baking
1 sheet frozen puff pastry (half of 17.3-ounce package), thawed
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Directions
Preheat oven to 400ºF.

In a medium bowl, mix together the apples, lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour until well combined. Set aside.

On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a 10-inch diameter round about 1/16-inch thick; transfer to a baking sheet try. Overlap the apple slices on the pastry, leaving a 1/4-inch plain border. Pour over any remaining mixture from the bowl over the apples, if any. Fold over the ends of the pastry, overlapping each fold. Brush the top of the folded pastry with melted butter.

Bake in the oven until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender and caramelized, about 20 to 25 minutes. Cool before slicing. Serve warm or room temperature. Bake with soul. Eat with pleasure.
