Salsa Verde

Serves 2 cups | Prep Time 5 minutes | Total Time 8 minutes

What You Need

5 tomatillos, husked and rinsed
1 jalapeño pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup minced onion
Juice of ½ lime
½ teaspoon salt

Step-by-Step
1. Husk and rinse 5 tomatillos. Remove stem and seeds from jalapeño.
2. Place tomatillos, pepper and garlic in blender or food processor and process until pureed but still chunky.
3. Add onions, cilantro, lime juice and season with salt. Pour into a bowl and serve with tortilla chips.
